Welcome to Alibag Nest. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for property bookings made through our platform. By confirming a booking and making payment, you agree to the terms below.


1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all bookings made through Alibag Nest where a guest pays an amount online to confirm reservation.


2. Cancellation Window (Guest Bookings)

A guest may cancel a booking only up to 7 days before the check-in date, until 12:00 PM (IST).

Example:
If check-in date is 7 April 2026, cancellation is allowed till 31 March 2026, 12:00 PM (IST).
From 1 April 2026 onward, the booking is treated as non-refundable.


3. Refund Amount (If Cancelled Within Allowed Window)

If cancellation is made within the allowed cancellation window, refund is calculated as:

Refund Payable = Amount Paid to Alibag Nest - 3% Convenience Fee

The convenience fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the amount paid.


4. No Refund After Cancellation Deadline

If cancellation is requested after the cancellation window closes (i.e., within 7 days of check-in or later), no refund will be provided.


5. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable unless required by applicable law:

  • Convenience fee (3%)
  • Any payment gateway/transaction processing charges (if applicable)
  • Any taxes/levies already remitted as per law (if applicable)

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Eligible refunds will be initiated after cancellation confirmation and are generally processed within 7–10 business days.
Actual credit time may vary depending on bank/payment gateway processing timelines.


7. Booking Modifications

Requests for date change, rescheduling, or guest detail modifications are subject to property availability and partner approval.
Modification requests do not guarantee refund eligibility and are handled under this policy unless otherwise stated in writing.


8. Platform Role

Alibag Nest acts as a booking and facilitation platform. Refund decisions are governed by this policy and applicable booking terms accepted at checkout.


9. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases (technical failure, duplicate transaction, proven platform error, or legal requirement), Alibag Nest may review and resolve refunds on a case-by-case basis.

11. Policy Updates

Alibag Nest reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.


12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts at Alibag, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from this policy.
